Assistant Director Hi folks! I'm thrilled to step up as LExD's new Assistant Director! My work with youth centers on creating empowering opportunities through activities and meaningful conversations. I have been teaching in various informal and formal capacities for over a decade, and received my MEd. from Lesley University. At LExD, I strive to create engaging curriculum by drawing from my professional experiences in environmental education, circus arts, and dance.

Director I started with Extended Day in 2006 as a Wolfpack teacher, and have grown so much with this program in those 18 years. I'm excited to move into my fourth year as Director and continue working in a more collaborative administrative capacity with Laura! That doesn't mean I don't love working with the kids when I get the chance (which, luckily, is often!) At home, I'm a jewelry designer, food enthusiast, and bunny-parent who loves to play Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on Nintendo Switch ;)

Classroom Coordinator - Beehive Hello! My name is Toby, and I'm excited for my second year as Beehive classroom coordinator and fourth year overall with LExD. I cherish our loving and supportive community! Some of my favorite projects include making pancakes and painting nails. Outside of Extended Day, I love spending time with my cat, playing video games, and trying new coffee shops. I'm looking forward to meeting new students and creating a Beehive community together!

Beehive Teacher My name is Theresa and I've been in Early Childhood Education for almost 10 years. I'm originally from RI and started off my career in an at home daycare. I am passionate about messy play learning. I believe that children should be treated as whole people and have the ability to collaborate and problem solve with supports from teachers, guardians and parents. When I am not teaching you can find me spending time with my family as well as my two adorable puppies Ziggy and Nova.

Sharktank Teacher Joseph Vasinda is a composer and teacher based in Boston who recently completed their PhD. in Music Composition. They love working with students of all ages to make music, art, and pasta. Outside of school they spend a lot of time writing music, playing ukulele, and going on long walks with their spouse and their golden retriever, Maple. Joseph is excited to return this year to continue playing board games with all the Sharktank students!

Beehive Teacher Hi! My name is Margaret. I am so excited to return to Lincoln Extended Day for my second year as a Beehive teacher! I am looking forward to creating projects and exploring with new and returning students. I enjoy working in a nurturing and play based learning environment. My favorite place to visit is the Dominican Republic. My hobby this school year will be playing Spyro.

Wolfpack Teacher Hey there, delighted to be part of the Lincoln Extended Day crew! For the past 7 years, I've taught reading and writing in Springfield, MA. When I'm not in teacher mode, you'll likely find me rollerblading, whittling wood creatures, reading queer fiction, or cuddling with the many cute cats in my life. I believe play is where the real magic happens, and I'm excited to be in a new role where that is centered.

Wolfpack Teacher I’m excited to return to extended day for my third year! I am a proud mom of 2 Lincoln graduates and have been involved in the community for many years. I have my masters in ceramics and love crafts and STEM projects. In my time off I enjoy camping, cooking, sewing, backpacking, hiking and spending time with my family.

Sharktank Teacher Hello, I am Lorrenzo. I am a 23 year old who loves music and sharing it with everyone. I am a black man, and I am very proud of my identity. Student Support + Inclusion Coordinator I am excited to be starting my fifth year of LExD! I’m looking forward to getting to work across the whole program in all divisions!

Beehive Teacher I am a returning for my fourth year as a Beehive Teacher! I am an artist and arts educator with experience facilitating creativity with humans of all ages in all kinds of settings. I spent the last four years developing and managing art programs for families at Boston Children's Museum. I have always loved the community feeling at LEXD and and I can't wait to put my skills to use for another year in service of exploration, play, and social emotional learning in Beehive.

Classroom Coordinator- Sharktank Hello, I'm Hope! This is my third year at Lincoln Extended Day, but my first as Classroom Coordinator--a role that I am eager and excited to step into! I graduated with a BFA in Theater Performance in my home state of Michigan. I love doing art based projects that let the kids really use their imagination. However, my favorite is running a Dungeons and Dragons game all year. In my spare time I am usually reading, playing tabletop games, and watching anime :)

Hello! This is my 7th year at Extended Day and I love this work so much. I believe play is the most important thing for growth, empathy and happiness (kids and adults!) and this job is the perfect environment for it. Im an artist and designer who enjoys game creation, gym games and treasure hunts. In my free time I love reading fantasy fiction, wild swimming and working on my many art projects :)

Wolfpack Teacher Chase grew up in the woods of upstate New York where they nourished their love of nature and creativity at LARP (live-action role-playing) camp. At Bennington College, Chase studied ceramics, costume design, and literature. Outside of LExD, they enjoy reading suspenseful books, spending time in nature, and making as much art as possible. For the past 2 years running, they have organized the Lincoln Extended Day Creative Showcase. This is their third year as a Wolfpack teacher!

Beehive Teacher AJ Rose is, in some ways, the tallest child at Lincoln Extended Day. He previously worked as a youth sports coach at Viking Sports, and is starting his third year in the Beehive division of LED. He enjoys dancing and singing with the kids, and doing various active projects in the gym and the schoolyard. AJ’s method of teaching involves lots of positive reinforcement, laughter, and encouraging the kids to consider each other when they make decisions.
